Sadia is… your wedding day insurance policy. You’ve spent countless hours planning and preparing, there’s no need to worry about a wardrobe malfunction on your special day. Sadia will be there with you, to prep and steam the gowns, hold your hand when you get a pang of anxiety, fluff your train, be with you ‘on set’ during photos and handle any last minute fashion emergency. My husband’s tuxedo needed buttons to hold his suspenders in place and amid all of the planning and prepping we forgot to have them sewn in. Sadia to the rescue! She took the extra buttons from a few groomsmen’s tuxedos and sewed them onto my husband’s pants so his suspenders would stay on. And she did it all in time for us to start pictures on schedule.

I would love to relive my wedding day but I would only do it again if I knew I could have Sadia there.

In full disclosure, Sadia and I have been friends for a couple of decades and like the girls that we are, I had shared how I wanted to look should I walk down the aisle.

Simple. Sophisticated. Sexy. Appropriate for the beach and elegant. AND, I didn’t want a typical wedding dress. We shopped for a total of one day.

Sadia has razor sharp instincts and has the ability to visualize before said garment is put on a body. She intuitively understood what I desired and how it would translate for my big day. I am not an easy customer, because I too was from the fashion industry, but she stuck to her instincts and expertise and nailed it! (Basically, she listened attentively and then picked out a dress that my body asked for.) I assumed that that couldn’t be the dress, because how could it be that easy, but that was IT.

She fitted the dress for my girly curves two weeks before the wedding (inserted a bra as though the dress came this way, the dress had a deep V in the back).

I was concerned about how the dress would travel as my husband and I were married in Jamaica. Sadia took care of the dress (steaming, any loose beading, you name it) and me (keeping me entertained) and in a jovial mood the day of the wedding.

Sadia is a fashion genius AND a bride’s dream come true from the shop to the aisle. Should you have the privilege to work with her, just ask her where you should show up and she takes care of the rest.
